Test Results
From the Timken tests in the above videos, the loadings of the tests were 1kg and the test durations were all 5 minutes. The results are as follows:
Wearings of metal rods after the tests:
- Steel Shield EPA: 0.01mm only!
- Red Line 5W40: 0.03mm
- Red Line Euro Series 5W30: 0.02mm
The results above revealed Steel Shield EPA can truely protect the engines from frictions as the metal rod after the test was only 0.01mm which is the best result.
